The Venture Capital Connection, a division of Making Connections and PublishersAndAgents, has expanded to a new office in Los Angeles which now handles everyday operations, plus writing and consulting.   Our other offices now handle marketing, PR, speaking, workshops, and seminars.   The details are on our contact page.

Gini Graham Scott, Ph.D., J.D. developed the service after creating a series of online query services to connect writers with publishers, agents and film industry. It has since expanded to include the music industry, media, game and toy industry, gifts and stationery field, speaking industry, and inventors seeking to sell their invention to any type of manufacturer.  For the past 3 years, the business has helped entrepreneurs and company owners contact venture capitalists and private investors for funding.

Gini Graham Scott is a writer and business consultant who has published over 50 books and hundreds of articles. Her most recent books and articles focus on work issues, creativity, business management, marketing, sales, and resolving conflict.  She is a speaker, workshop/seminar leader, and organizational consultant to business, government, and non-profit organizations.  She has spoken to top executives, managers, professionals, and the general public.

RESOLVING EVERYDAY CONFLICT IN YOUR ORGANIZATION (Davies-Black 2000).  Her articles have been featured in many business publications, including the Oakland Business Review and FinancialFinesse.  Several new books are 30 DAYS TO A MORE POWERFUL MEMORY (AMACOM 2007) and DISAGREEMENTS, DISPUTES, AND ALL-OUT WAR on improving relationships in the workplace (AMACOM 2007). 

She has been a featured guest on hundreds of TV and radio programs, including Good Morning America, Oprah, the O’Reilly Factor, CNN, and many others. She has been teaching classes on business, organizational behavior, public relations, sales, marketing, management, psychological profiling, and privacy for the University of Notre Dame de Namur and the Investigative Career Program in San Francisco. She has a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley, a J.D. from the University of San Francisco Law School, and M.A.s in Anthropology and in Mass Communications and Organizational, Consumer, and Audience Behavior from Cal State, East Bay.
