INTRODUCING
   CID EQUITY PARTNERS

Here's a portrait of CID Equity Partners sent in by Amanda Haase, the Marketing Communications Manager.  Their Web site is at www.cidequity.com.

CID Equity Partners is one of the largest Midwest-based providers of private equity and subordinated debt financing to seed, growth and mature middle-market companies.  Since its founding in 1981, the firm has raised eight funds totaling nearly $440 million.

CID strives to be on the cutting edge of entrepreneurial development throughout the Mid-America region and invests in a variety of industries, including life sciences, diversified technology, business services, and industrial and consumer products.

Today, CID is actively investing from three funds: a seed fund - which is capital used to support young companies in the earliest stages of development; a venture fund - which targets mid-to-late stage growth companies; and a mezzanine fund - which provides established companies with funds to support management buyouts, expansion financings, industry consolidations, corporate spin-offs, and change-of-control transactions.
